OH MY GOD you need to write a novel. Well, you practically did here. Wow. But that doesn’t look like black bread???

I’d be in a good mood for a month if I thought any of my female friends told anyone that I was “A modest man with a quiet charisma about him.”

we're men dude, we get like one nice compliment per decade.

That seems right to me. But perhaps that was why that compliment seemed so sincere and generous, you know, a well-thought out expression that the complimenter was giving real thought to the value she saw in the recipient. The is the sort of thing that few of us ever get.

Nothing mediocre about your talent. This is fabulous! I laughed, I cried, I shopped for caviar.

Being that conspicuous about cheating has to be on purpose. Trashiest and laziest way to initiate a breakup, tbh. Totally agree about "finding yourself." There's nothing there to find. The idea that there's some secrets, true version of you lurking inside that no one else can see is less real than the tooth fairy.

One thing I find absolutely hilarious is how women will go on and on about how vain, shallow, and obsessed with looks men are. Which, fair enough, but ask them to date a guy who is a couple inches shorter and all that shit goes straight out the window. I remember from my dating app days, the amount of women's profiles which explicitly said "no short men" was staggering. I'm 6' tall so it didn't apply to me, wasn't even personal. I was just shocked. I'd really bought the lie that men were the only ones obsessed with physical appearance.

“not lucky enough to be a nepo baby, not talented or driven enough to create the extraordinary life to which he felt so entitled, not enlightened or cool enough to simply embrace his unremarkable existence.” Ugh why you gotta roast me like that 😭

That was a killer takedown, but TBH the guy didn't necessarily sound like he was leading a loser life.

This was a wonderful read. I loved it. If your writing doesn’t make you comfortable, you really need to

Do

Something (I hate the relationship my phone has with my thumbs) with the collar (free but the service to unlock the thoughts of passersbys will be $60/month. $120/month). Thanks for this.

A Karine CLASSIC rigjht here. Funny but also flashing some genuine wisdom about life and how to live it. Plus a bonus guide to Brighton Beach that who knows I may use if I ever need caviar or varnekki. This is the best deal on Substack, particularly considering it's free.

But as a man (of a certain age) I want to know how all the Raya guys look so good. This must be the kind of thing that women in their 50s wonder about constantly when it comes to rich women.
