David Patrick Kelly's ad-libbed "Warriors! Come out to play-ay," is lost on so many younger people. His take on the psychotic 'Luther' gave his acting career a fantastic Hole-shot.
I've been dying to re-watch this lately. I think your spot-on reassessment of these gangs going in for sartorial oneupsmanship instead of true thuggery has ruined it. Damn you. At least it was hilarious.
